This past fall season, the Portledge Girls Varsity Soccer team experienced a remarkable journey filled with many accomplishments and victories. Through their excellent display of teamwork, determination, and incredible work ethic, the team was able to successfully claim their fourth consecutive PSAA championship. In the championship game, which took place this past October, Portledge battled against The Waldorf School, a competitive team that set out to bring home a victory; however, the Portledge Girls Soccer team’s extraordinary skill, as well as their amazing teamwork, allowed them to effortlessly sweep Waldorf in a 5-0 victory. Throughout the game, many individual players showcased exceptional talent, making a positive impact on how the team played as a whole. Each player on the field contributed immensely to the team’s victory by either helping score goals or preventing goals from being scored.

The Panthers had a remarkable season with many wins, and very few losses. The girls traveled both near and far, successfully defeating teams home and away.  Although they endured many hurdles throughout their season, the girls ultimately dealt with the pressure and played their game. Despite facing tough teams throughout their season, the Panthers were able to rise up as undisputed champions, clinching wins when it mattered the most. Their final match against Waldorf spoke of measures, as they defeated them in the PSAA Finals, playing an amazing game.

The Panthers this season were unstoppable and we look forward to what next season holds for them!!!
