The Upper School Spring Kickoff Party on Friday, April 11th  was a fantastic gathering of the Portledge community towards the end of the second semester! Students from all grades gathered for a night of games, food, conversation, photos, and dancing! The vibrant event was held in the Middle School atrium from 6:30-8:30 PM, and the building was filled with the sound of fun, laughter, and the beats of amazing music mixes from our very own DJ, Senior Will Bodian. From playing games of blindfolded Jenga with faculty members to posing with props in front of the 3D video machine, students in the Upper School were able to make great memories through this enjoyable experience. 

 

Bahnik Hall could have been mistaken for a full arcade on the night of the Spring Kick-off Dance, with an extensive variety of interactive games to choose from, including air hockey, ping pong, skeeball, bean bag toss, and basketball hoops that fostered some friendly and humorous competition between peers. A dress-down day was given to the eleventh grade following the dance, as they had the highest attendance. From singing out loud on the dance floor to dressing up in the provided props of light-up glasses and necklaces, students took advantage of this amazing chance to unwind, unite, and connect with their fellow peers and faculty members.
